The Software Developer’s primary role is to design and develop web-based and applications to support our client’s business and objectives. Software Developers work closely with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, Technical Architecture, and other members of the IT organization to ensure the success of new products and new releases of existing products. Software Developers work with new technology through all phases of the software development life cycle to produce and enhance scalable, robust software applications.
Responsibilities
Develop Web-Based Tools/Applications to Support All Phases of Valuations Division Translates technical specifications and requirements into technical solution Uses Rapid Applications Development techniques employing object oriented design and development to produce solutions Performs unit testing and bug resolution for software under development Debug Software and Fix Defects Uncovered During Testing Process Work with Application Analysts or Coordinators, Test Engineers and Technical Writers to Ensure Successful Rollout of New Applications/Features Additional Duties, as assigned
Requirements
Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology 3-5 years’ work experience in a development role Required to have experience with C# Full Lifecycle Project Experience Academic and/or career related experience with building applications using: XML, ASP.Net, SQL Server Experience developing web-based applications Self-Motivated: Ability to Work with Minimal Supervision Strong Customer Service Focus Clear Verbal and Written Communication Skills Ability to Work in Fast-Paced Environment and Meet Deadlines Capability to Work both Independently and as part of a Team Problem-Solving Mindset with Ability to Multitask
