is seeking to hire a .NET Software Developer, to be located in Philadelphia, PA.

The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to the sustainment of the DLA Defense Medical Logistics Support System Wholesale (DMLSS-W) suite of applications.

Main responsibilities include enhancements, modifications and corrections to existing software along with development of new software artifacts as business needs arise.

Responsible for analyzing and gathering technical requirements for the framework and creating a design for the final software output.

The candidate may participate in requirement gathering sessions (JADWGs) with the customer to gain an appreciation for the business requirements in order to develop the technical requirements and solution.

The candidate performs extensive testing and stringent quality checks to ensure an error free final product to the user which meets the business requirements.

Operates within the Software Development Lifecycle put in place by the customer and within a team consisting of individuals from multiple contracting shops and government personnel.

The candidate resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

The candidate shall provide software systems diagnosis, problem determination, and resolution for the supported applications.

The candidate shall perform recurring functions associated with normal maintenance and operations of the suite of applications.

The candidate shall evaluate new and existing software products for potential inclusion when developing solutions.

Opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies using C# ASP .Net and MVC to develop mission critical applications which support our Warfighter in the acquisition of medical products The .NET Software Developers primary job responsibilities will include: Develop, document and control functional and technical requirements.

Design, develop, test and implement web-based interfaces.

Develop software applications to include programming, documentation, and taking customer requirements to a functioning application, changes, and fixes.

Ensure all development efforts adhere to program guidelines and directives, risk is mitigated, documentation is complete, and manage timelines for the development work.

Operate within the Software Development Life Cycle methodology used by the organization Provide software systems diagnosis, problem determination, and resolution.

Perform recurring functions associated with normal maintenance and operations of deployed systems.

Perform systems analytical work.

Maintain and develop web portal, manage content within that portal, and develop/maintain any web pages directed by the Government.

Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including gathering requirements, analyzing business requirements, designing, prototyping, developing, testing, deployment, supporting, and documenting Participating in Agile development when applicable Evaluate new technological developments and evolving business requirements Required Skills and Qualifications: Microsoft ASP.NET MVC framework Microsoft C# .NET Asp.Net forms based development ASP.Net Web API 2, Entity Framework AJAX, JavaScript, JSON and JavaScript Frameworks (Angular, jQuery) HTML and XML markup languages Microsoft Team Foundation Server (Source Control, Task and Requirements Management) RSA Access Manager Oracle Developer skills (PL SQL, Packages) Windows (Asp.Net) and UNIX (Oracle) Operating Systems Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) Desired Skills and Qualifications: Strong skillset in developing Asp.Net forms based web applications for supporting the current application Strong skillset in developing Asp.Net MVC web applications for the future development and refactoring of existing software.

Experience developing Oracle Packages and Procedures using PL-SQL Excellent interpersonal, communications, analytical and organizational skills.
