Typically, Consultants work at client sites, which often requires travel.

The work: A Software Asset Manager will be responsible for: Leading Software Asset Management Prime teams to successfully deliver Software Asset Management engagements for Accenture clients, ensuring that the agreed scope of work is delivered to the required standards.

Build strong relationships with clients, scoping projects, identifying risks, providing cost estimates and executing the delivery of those projects within defined budgets.

Drive the entire lifecycle of a Software Asset Management project.

This includes producing and presenting intermediate, analytical, and final results and assuring projects are conducted and closed to the satisfaction of all parties.

Operating as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor in the domain of software licensing and optimization.

Providing advice to customers on implementation of Best Practice strategies to mitigate risk and identify cost optimization opportunities.

S upport the sales and delivery teams in developing reports and be able to make recommendations and execute strategies around improvements.

Identify new opportunities and communicate appropriate service offerings to clients.

Supervising, supporting and coaching a global team of professionals around the world.

Quality assuring the team’s work and actively participate on new product innovations.

Supporting sales campaigns, RFPs, and drive Software Asset Management sales globally.

Experience on Oil-Gas, Energy sector is a key plus.

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Who do we need?

Minimum 10 years of experience managing client engagements including engaging with senior management and directors.

Minimum 10 years of experience in a software asset management role with an emphasis on large, enterprise software vendors such as IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, SAP.

Minimum 10 years of experience of software asset management tools and technologies, including discovery technology (SCCM) and practical experience in working with Software Asset Management tools (i.e.

Flexera, ServiceNow etc.).

Minimum 2 year of experience in the Oil-Gas, Energy sector.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.

If Associates Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience.

Bonus Points if you have: Understand contractual models for sale/purchase of software and how to extract value in terms of cost savings & cost avoidance during a contracts lifetime and optimization at its renewal.

Demonstrated track record of developing successful relationships with key client stakeholders.

Experience executing measurement and analysis processes for different software vendors product categories Experience of software contract audits (either working in-house or from an execution standpoint) and given support to Clients on Software License Audits.

Design, build, and optimize key data reports that build accurate compliance and management reporting Ability to work independently with little supervision and proven ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and work well under pressure to tight deadlines.

Experience working with global organization and resources around the world and have experience of managing and coaching team members.

Working knowledge of ITIL Core foundation, ISO19770, CMDB tool experience and any IAITAM Certification (i.e.

CSAM, CHAMP etc.) is a plus.

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado.

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.

For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is 114,300 to 142,099 and information on benefits offered is here.
