Skills Requirements
Experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM modules – Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Catalog and Service Request, Configuration Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management or other ITSM application.
Must have developed scoped, custom applications and configured Service Portal on the ServiceNow platform.
Experience with upgrades, cloning, developing and supporting 3rd party integrations with ServiceNow, MID Server, web services, creating and maintaining APIs.
Good understanding of ServiceNow integrations which include SSO, SAML, LDAP, AD, Jamf, Slack etc.
Hands-on experience with orchestration, integration hub, service portal and Mobile App development.
In-depth understanding of ITSM, Asset Management, ITOM (Discovery, Orchestration), Performance Analytics, ITIL, Agile & SDLC.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
Self-starter and technically savvy who is keen to explore new capabilities and solutions to solve business problems.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
ServiceNow certifications desired – Certified System Administration, Certified Application Developer, Certified Application Specialist Performance Analytics.
Experience with extending the ServiceNow schema to custom applications
Exposure to ServiceNow platform capabilities and tools like Discovery, Asset Management, CMDB, etc.
Understands technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow.
Create and manage scripts and workflow.
Integration using REST/SOAP and JSON
Experience in one (or more) scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell)
Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
A fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL and CMDB
Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs – all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system
Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side Javascript and the ServiceNow APIs
Customizing ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly(good to have)
Custom UI Changes with usage of Web Technologies such as DOM, HTML changes (good to have)
Experience integrating ServiceNow with Salesforce.com, Workday (good to have)
Required Experience
4-year college degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum of 8 years working IT environment.
Minimum of 3 years working with ServiceNow.
Developer experience (JavaScript required).
Excellent written and verbal skills. Must be able to communicate well with all areas of the business.
