Duration 6 Months Contract (extendable) Location Los Angeles, CA (100 Remote) Role Senior Talend ETL Developer Primary Skills ETL Role Description The Senior Talend ETL Developer must have at least 8 years of experience. MUST have Talend ESB experience. For this role, you must have experience working in small environments and be able to wear multiple hats. Top Skills – 5+ years of Talend ETL development experience – 5+ years of experience using Talend components related to DW specifically, CDC and SCD – Experience working with data mapper for handling large data sets – API development experience – Talend ESB Enterprise Req Skills – TEDI, Talend, data warehouse, cloud, data mapper, CDC, SCD, ESB, data quality, SQL, PLSQL, Oracle, erpss, API, AWS, S3, RDS, Glue IT is using Oracle as their DW environment, Talend for ETL, and Tableau for reporting. This team is made up of a BA, a data architect, three ETL developers and a Tableau report developer. For this position, you must be a developer who has experience developing ETL jobs using Talend 6.3, performance tuning existing ETL frameworks, and deploying to test and Prod environments. You should have experience building APIs for data integrations and consuming ESB service requests. You will extract data from Oracle DB environment, transform according to the requirements and load into the DW environment. Once done, a Tableau report developer will build reports to be consumed by the requesting department. Must be Familiar with – SLOWLY changing dimensions – Change data capture – Data Mapper – BranchingMerge – Must be highly experienced with Talend Platform for Data Management products (Data Integration and Data Quality) and must have experience working with different Talend perspectives like – (1 Talend Data Integration – (2) Talend Data Quality – (3) Talend Open Studio – (4) Talend Enterprise Data Integration Day to Day – Develop, unit test and support ETL mappings and scripts for data marts using Talend. – Dynamic schema validation and custom data cleansing within Talend processes. – Data Transformations, Profiling and Cleansing operations. – Developing REST API structures to interface with external data sources. – Work with JSON and web components – Build APIs for data integrations – Consume ESB service requests Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, ElectricalElectronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.
