The Secure Systems Solutions F18 Program area is seeking an enthusiastic and highly capable Principal Software Engineer specializing in Built-In Test (BIT) to join our Software Engineering team in El Segundo, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. You are a candidate if:
You’re highly skilled in: (Required Skills)
* Developing embedded software utilizing C, C++, Ada or related tools/languages (Minimum of 10+ years’ experience)
* Developing and integrating real time embedded software, in particular Built-In-Test (BIT) software and considered a subject matter expert
* Integrating Hardware / Software including trouble-shooting and resolving issues
* Using Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks or equivalent development tools
* Working through every phase of the software development life-cycle
* Applying Software Development Processes
* Communicating effectively with team members across disciplines, project management, as well as customers
* Functioning as a Team Lead or Technical Lead to other team members
* Must have a current final DOD Secret Clearance
You’re a great match with: (Desired Skills)
* Experience with Radar Software Architecture, Signal processing or Data processing
* Experience with developing and integrating software for advanced Air-to-Surface or Air-to-Air radar modes
* Experience with Continuous Integration methodologies
* Knowledge and experience with earned value management techniques
* Ability to be accessed to Special Access Programs *

Required Education (including Major):
* Bachelor’s degree required. STEM degree preferred.
