What you’ll achieve

The Software Engineering team at Commerce Platform delivers next-generation software applications and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop cloud native software with the most advanced technologies, tools and software engineering methodologies with the collaboration of internal and external partners. As a Senior Manager, Software Engineer IT, you will be responsible for delivering products and improvements for a changing world.


You will:

  • Assist in crafting the strategic technical and architectural direction to the programming functions.
  • Act as prime consultant on large projects that affect the organizations long-term goals and objectives.
  • Direct the efforts of the team towards achievement of strategic and operational objectives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and advisor for specialized programs, systems and critical technologies.
  • Assume a lead role within a major project and determine project approach, system scope, resource allotment and budget planning to meet complex business requirements.
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand critical business success factors and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
  • Adapt to constant technical changes and has a high degree of accountability, commitment and responsibility.
  • Manage and support the career growth of your direct reports

Essential Requirements

  • 10 to 12 years of software development experience with sophisticated knowledge on IT principles, design patterns and enterprise architecture.
  • 3 to 4 years of managerial/leadership experience
  • Knowledge to analyze and develop solutions to highly complex problems and the ability to lead large projects.
  • Extremely good understanding of Microservices architecture and building scalable enterprise services.
  • Strong knowledge in the .NET, NoSql and Web Services.
  • Experience in the working with CI/CD methodologies and tools.
  • Experience in building cloud-native services
