OverviewSenior ETL DeveloperLos Angeles, CA6-month contractJob Id 2021-5355Solugenix is assisting a client, a health insurance company, in their search for a Senior ETL Developer.

This is a 6-month contract opportunity based out of Los Angeles, CA.The successful candidate will work with the team to develop, enhance and support enterprise-level data ingestion into Oracle & Microsoft SQL databases using Informatica, SSIS and OBIEE.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team comprised of a scrum master, system analysts, ETL developers and data architecture staff.

The candidate will be responsible for developing complex ETL workflows and creating technical design documents that capture source to target mapping, data transformation and data quality rules.Qualifications:* At least 5 years’ experience with Informatica.* At least 3 years’ experience with SSIS/SASS/SSRS (A Plus).* Experience with OBIEE experience is a highly preferred.

(A plus).* Experience with UNIX Shell scripts for automation of jobs is a plus.* Good communication skills.* Team Oriented and can work independently.* Experience with working with business partners to translate business requirements to workflow designs.* Healthcare payer experience.* Able to design scalable data models and data flows.* Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.* Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.Responsibilities:* Designs and implements complex ETL processes.* Responsible for the operational support of Informatica environment including but not limited to automation, job scheduling, dependencies, monitoring, maintenance, patches, upgrades, security, and administration.* Supports and enhances existing Informatica and SSIS workflows and develops new, complex ETL processes to support additional design, development and deployment of the Enterprise Data Warehouse, and Data Marts.* Assist data warehouse team in completing current data warehouse initiative projects* Analyze and evaluate data sources.* Perform other duties as assigned.About the ClientOur client is one of the world’s leading health insurance company based out of Los Angeles, CA.About SolugenixFor over 50 years, Solugenix has been a global technology development and services firm with locations in California, Arizona, India, and the Dominican Republic.
