SAP BO Developer
(100% remote) | 6 months (Possible extension)
Job Description:
We are looking for an SAP Business Objects Sr. Developer/Engineer to help us transition data centers. You will be a hands-on developer/engineer responsible for ensuring that our Business Objects reporting capabilities continue to function as desired after its data sources transition to a new data center.
Major Responsibilities:
Analyze and document the existing SAP BO environments (there 2 environments) to understand how they are integrated for reporting purposes.
Update existing SAP BO environments to point to corresponding data sources in new data center
Modify and optimize database queries as needed to improve performance degradation that could be introduced as part of the data center move
Facilitate testing of the SAP BO environments against the new data sources in the new data center
Work with project leader to identify roadblocks & challenges associated with moving data centers
Work with project leader and other team members to overcome roadblock & challenges associated with moving data centers
Job Requirements:
Requirements:
Experience with SAP BusinessObjects (BO)
Experience with extracting, transforming, and loading data using BO Data Integrator
Experience with testing BO reports through a web front-end
Experience with Oracle SQL & PL/SQL and connecting to non-SAP databases to create the Universe
Experience with SAP BO Central Management Console and other SAP BO Administrative tools and concepts
