The Secure Sensor Solutions (S3) software team in El Segundo, CA is actively seeking an Embedded Software Engineer.
Required Skills: D oD Secret Clearance Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines Some background or course work in cyber security or cryptography or information assurance Experience in software development using C, C++, C#, Assembly, MATLAB Experience in network programming and developing software test tools Familiar with object-oriented software development methodologies Familiar with software life cycle Familiar with modeling languages, e.G.
UML Familiar with real-time operating systems, e.G., VxWorks, Green Hills Integrity, or Unix/Linux Experience with developing real-time multithreaded Applications Desired Skills: Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, and Model-based Engineering Experience with software product line development practices Knowledge of cyber security Experience with Python and/or Perl scripting Familiar with secure coding standards Competence in embedded software debugging and analysis tools (e.G.
JTAG, GDB, etc.) Good understanding of different microprocessor architectures (e.G.
PPC, x86, etc.) Understanding of agile software methodologies is a plus Experience in customer interface and presentation skills Good communication (oral and written) skills Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Applied Math, Electrical Engineering or STEM degree from accredited University.
