One of our clients in Los Angeles area is looking for a QA Tester with the following skills and experience:
Job Description
Clients content Management Tools team is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to help us build a robust and functional suite tools for our users.
You’ll be working closely with our engineers in an agile environment, as well as our users and stakeholders across multiple internal operations teams. The right candidate will be adept at finding and exposing gaps in our systems, and also possess strong written and verbal communications skills to properly document and explain their findings.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular regression tests across a suite of web-based content management tools
- Document test plans based on application specifications
- Investigate reported issues and develop Steps to Reproduce for engineers
- Coordinate with development teams to assist with deployments and debugging
- Help develop clients QA process and best practices
Basic Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
- Familiarity with common bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
