Review and assess network specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.

Review and evaluate cost/benefit analysis and assure that sufficient information exists for hardware and software selection.

Implement techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.

Advise network users of hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations.

Evaluate and report on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.

Bachelors degree (in STEM field desired).

DHS suitability clearance.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience with Department of Homeland Security.

Previous experience in information management, records management, and training.

Understanding of Systems acquisition lifecycle (e.g.

ALF and MD-102).

Familiarity with IEEE standard 1012, IEEE Standard 829-1998, and the DHS SELC.
