*Remote vs. On-site: *On-site initial to get acclimated. Hybrid set-up after probation period is up. 2 – 3 days remote per week.

*Job Qualifications*
* CCNA or higher certification. MUST have active certification for consideration.
* A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related to field required or equivalent years of experience.
* 7 – 10+ years of working knowledge deploying/maintaining LAN/WAN, MPLS, TACACS+, RADIUS, Wireless, and VPN (flexible).
* Experience with Palo Alto security appliances.
* Experience with Cisco Routers and switches, HP switches, Dell Force10/PowerConnect switches, and SAN switches.
* Experience with Load Balancers and WAN Acceleration.
* Extensive knowledge and experience of Core Routing and Switching design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
* Experience supporting solutions with high availability, cloud environments, and real time monitoring.
* Ability to share and communicate ideas and processes in verbal and written form in a clear and concise manner.
* Ability to troubleshoot complicated issues, think outside the box, get-help when needed and work with other engineer to deliver results in timely manner.
* Solid knowledge of TCP/IP and network security (QoS a plus), proficient use of packet analyzers, network assessment tools.
*Job Scope:*
* Under the supervision of the IT Network Manager, this position is responsible to implement, maintain, and support client’ s growing network infrastructure, including, but not limited to Firewalls, Switches, Routers and monitoring systems.
* Support of the design, development, and management of network and monitoring systems for new and existing environments.
* Implement and support IPsec VPN, MPLS Networks and Network security systems including Intrusion protection and packet inspection systems.
* Configuring and supporting routing solutions utilizing OSPF, EIGRP and BGP.
* Design and implement process improvements.
* Utilize Project management software to plan and track progress.
* Provide status updates to management and stakeholders regarding issues and progress.
* Must be able to lead projects and deliver results.
* Obtain quotes and place orders with third party vendors where required.
* Identify new and emerging technologies and solutions that can benefit the company.
* Maintain existing department and systems documentation, add new documents including FAQ, guides, KB, etc.
