Ready to design what’s next?In this role, you will play a key role in helping us architect and delivery highly scalable, high traffic financial products employing the right blend of latest cloud technologies and sound solution architecture with focus on delivering great Client experience.

You will analyze the existing database architecture, data models, understand the complete business processes and identify areas of opportunities to drive optimizations that will have a material impact on our client experience.

Along the way you will use your technical skills and seasoned thought process to work alongside a group of DBAs for our next generation payment platform.You will act as Lead Database Engineer and have experience in Aurora/MYSQL RDS DB Administration.

In addition, you will play a lead role in helping us develop highly scalable and performant financial database systems.

You must have a strong AWS working knowledge with Aurora MySQL, Clusters / Global Databases
– backups/snapshots, cloning and CloudWatch.

We will expect you to use your expert knowledge in MySQL/Aurora internals including storage engines, specially InnoDB to optimize our database performance.

Your expertise should include database upgrades, replication using DMS, recovery, DB migration, etc.

You will need to have expertise in in MySQL performance tuning and real-time troubleshooting and experience in defining and implementing holistic Monitoring of Cloud databases including monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, SQLDM etcLike what you see?

You have the ability to identify and recommend performance optimizations in Relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, Aurora, Postgress and Vertica.

You have 8-12 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:You’ll have a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent.Experience managing high traffic, multi-tier financial products at scale specifically in Payments and Card domainsExperience managing multi-tenant databases and experience with scaling, sharding and optimizing databases.Strong knowledge of AWS managed services including RDS, KMS, DMS, Lambda functional and FargateExperience with PCI and SOX audit proceduresYOU’LL LOVE WORKING HERE BECAUSE YOU CAN:Have courageous team collaboration.
