Find your future with us.Boeing is seeking a Senior AvionX Systems Engineer SW Certification (Level 5) to join our team in either Plano, Texas, Berkeley, Missouri, Hazelwood, Missouri, Long Beach, California or Mesa, Arizona to support AvionX product lines.

Position Responsibilities:
· Coordinate with engineering teams, project administrators, and business unit partners to successfully certify projects/products for the AvionX product line development team
· Evaluate, coordinate, implement and ensure certification activities and deliverables are completed to meet regulatory requirements and expectations of the overall program objectives
· Perform cross-functional technical integration in support of resolving AvionX product line certification issues
· Enact cross-functional integration and technical project management in support of AvionX product line certification
· Leads analyses for regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors to ensure mission success
· Leads the implementation and integration of certification processes and tools across programs
· Works under consultative direction This position allows telecommuting.

The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a U.S.

Person as defined by 22 C.F.R.

§ 120.15 is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
· Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
· 5+ years of experience implementing processes and standards compliant with airplane certification standards and/or FAA certification standards
· 3+ years of experience with preparing for DO-178C Stages of Involvement
· 3+ years of experience with DO-178C and supplements (DO-331, DO-332) and DO-330
· 1+ years of experience with DO-330 tool qualification
· 2+ years of experience in project or program management Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
· Experience with requirements based testing
· Commercial aircraft software development experience
· Military software development experience
· Model Based Development using Mathworks/Simulink tools
· Commercial aircraft system certification experience
· Military aircraft system certification experience
· Experience with hardware certification Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.

Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.

PhD+9 years’ related work experience, Master+12 years’ related work experience).

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
