Job Summary: The Hardware Parts Manager will oversee and manage all hardware parts.
The Hardware Parts Manager will work closely with department leads in a production/ assembly line environment and should display excellent communication and leadership skills.
The Hardware parts manager position will oversee and maintain adequate inventory levels of bulk hardware, hardware packs and printed literature included with our packaged products.
Ensuring the packaging department is never interrupted due to a lack of hardware and/or the included literature.
Creating and maintaining organization procedures utilizing a labeling and bin system.
The candidate needs to have a high level of organizational aptitude and persistence in order to succeed.
Great communication skills with the ability to consistently maintain a check in schedule with our packaging team.
Candidate should always be able to create and maintain inventory logs to aid in keeping required stock levels.
Top Five Duties/Responsibilities * Keep track of daily, weekly, and monthly production from team* Schedule and prepare production processes/goals daily, weekly, and monthly to maximize output* Quality control of all pieces going out through the hardware department* Perform daily/weekly inventory of required materials and submit purchasing requests to the purchasing department for materials, supplies, etc.* Oversee organization of workstation Duties/Responsibilities: * Make hardware packs for specific products* Maintain and cycle bulk hardware via FIFO practices* Create order requests for bulk hardware* Work with managers to develop required bin coding and locations* Printing and bagging assembly instruction, warranty cards, in box marketing* Work with individual packers daily to maintain required levels* Order printed material as needed including exterior box labels for packaging team* Create master log of hardware packs referencing the product it belongs to* Manages warehouse hardware inventory and maintains database* Coordinates and schedules the movement of hardware products throughout the warehouse including storage* Implements daily production plan, arranging for excess stock to be stored in warehouse* Manages a daily flow of hardware products, by modifying storage space assignments* Operates forklift and directs forklift drivers to store goods in identified areas* Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed.* Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports* Perform other related duties as directed* Troubleshoots issues that arise.
Requirements: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.* Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.* Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required.
Education and Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent experience required.* 3-5 years experience as a Warehouse Supervisor/Lead performing related duties Physical Requirements: * Must be able to traverse the production facility.* Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
