Description:The Embedded Software Engineer will work with multi-location teams to develop tactical radio communication systems.
Will cover some feature development across DOD Software Defined Radios.Requirements:Minimum 5 years of Software Development in an embedded environment, preferably with military and/or radiosExperience with Real-time operating systems, such as QNX or LinuxAbility to interpret hardware schematics, circuit designs, and datasheetsProficiency with C, C++Proficiency with multi-threaded, multi-core design and/or real-time operating systemsExperience with object-oriented design and CORBAUnderstanding of Design, Implementation and Testing of large software systemsExperience with software emulators/debuggersAbility to work effectively in a team environment, good interpersonal and communication skillsFamiliarity with Agile Software Developments and tools such as Jira is desirable About Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
