Job Description ***100% Remote*** Our industry-leading client in communications is currently seeking a Senior Staff Hardware Design Engineer (FPGA/Xilinx/VHDL/Vivado) to join their Engineering Development team.

For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.Responsibilities of the Senior Staff Hardware Design Engineer:Develop software and systems related to Ethernet testingDesign high accuracy receive/transmit schemes for Ethernet traffic facilitating testing performed in processor firmwareWork closely with the firmware design team to ensure the FPGA design is tailored for the various high accuracy tests used in Service AssuranceRequirements of the Senior Staff Hardware Design Engineer:Primary HDL experience in VHDL, Xilinx Vivado tools, and Virtex UltraScale+ architectureExperience interfacing with Xilinx IPCandidate must be self-motivating individual able to deliver HDL designs for system integration.Able to design based on high or low level specificationAble to write test benches to verify design using Riviera Pro or Vivado simulatorExperience with Timing closure RTL design, Physical design including: timing closure, design sign off and simulationFull understanding of Xilinx Vivado toolsetExperience with 100Gbps – 400Gbps Ethernet, MGT’s (GTHE2), DDR4Job ID: 354774About Eliassen Group:Eliassen Group provides strategic consulting and talent solutions to drive our clients’ innovation and business results.
