ROLE SUMMARYThe Database Administrator’s role is to design, monitor, and maintain production databases, with various types of data relevant to Wellnest’s operations and its funding requirements such as Department of Mental Health client services data using authorized access to data sets, IS system reporting and Wellnest’s electronic health records system, Exym. The Database Administrator ensures high levels of data availability. This individual is also responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software. They will have an excellent understanding of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL. They will have working knowledge of programming script languages, such as, jscript, vbscript, javascript, .NET framework and ASP.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESWorks with the Director of Information Technology to develop database architectures, coding standards, and quality assurance policies and procedures.Collaborates with IT staff and other business units/divisions of client program services in the conceptualization and development of new software programs and applications that ensure compliance with the agency’s contract requirements.Researches, identifies, analyzes and fulfills requirements of all internal and external program users with varying levels of ability to use technology.In conjunction with the Director of IT, develops models, procedures, and protocols for reporting in concert with the Wellnest’s goals.Researches, reviews, and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing report procedures and develops strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes as management tools initiate communication with TQM and management for these projects.Assists in developing custom reports and applications using reporting tools for managers in program divisions.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field OR a minimum of four (4) of related experience serving as a Database Administrator for a mid-size company.A minimum of one (1) year of experience working in Dynamics CRM.A minimum of one (1) year of experience programming visual studio.A minimum of one (1) year of experience working with healthcare records and databases.Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:Must possess and maintain a valid CA driver’s license and insurable driving record.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:A strong commitment to advancing Wellnest’s mission.Advanced proficiency with VMWare ESXi 7.0+ hypervisor and virtual machine environments; entire Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI); Visual Studio, C# .NET, AzureDevOps, source controlKnowledge of the O365 platform as it pertains to feature sets that integrate with Dynamics CRM solutionsStrong documentation skillsDemonstrated project management experience with the ability to efficiently meet deadlines.Solid organizational skills and an ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and discretionAbility to maintain a high level of ethical and professional standards.Excellent communication skills that are rooted in accurately and effectively conveying information.Skilled in engaging and working with diverse individuals and groups to accomplish established goals.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and achievement-oriented environment.CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENTEmployee may be asked to pursue additional training when it is determined to be in the best interest of the Company. The Company will provide exemptions in accordance with applicable law.WORKING CONDITIONSEmployee regularly works out in the field and in an office environment. Employee may be required to work flexible, evening and/or weekend hours for time-sensitive projects.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSAnnualized Salary Range: $81,320 to $91,000Wellnest offers $10,000/year to build a personalized health benefits package from a choice of available medical, dental, and vision coverage plans, as well as an employer paid $50,000 life insurance policy.Wellnest employees benefit from an employer sponsored 401(k) company match, dollar for dollar, up to 3% and profit-sharing contribution benefit up to 5%.
