Responsibilities
This position is currently under a “hybrid” work model
– combination of working from home and coming onsite as needed or at specified times (to be determined based on department needs).
The Cloud and DevOps Developer will be part of the team that is responsible for designing, developing, and operating the infrastructure and applications focused on Cloud technologies.
With your strong technical background including a combination of both development engineering and IT skillsets, you will troubleshoot, diagnose and fix environment issues, and develop the monitoring solutions and tools which will automate daily operational activities.
In addition, you will responsible for leading the development, enhancement, coding, testing, building, deploying, and debugging software for critical enterprise applications primarily using Microsoft .Net and modern web frameworks.
In this role, you will work closely with clients and Office of Health Informatics & Analytics (OHIA) team members to understand the stakeholder requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality infrastructure technical solutions in our Azure environment.
You will be responsible for the design and implementation of infrastructure and applicationsÂ’ build, release, deployment, and configuration activities; pipeline automation, optimization and management.
Other responsibilities include architect, orchestrate, and automate our infrastructure and service deployment; working independently and collaboratively with rest of the team and internal OHIA groups to gather requirements, prototyping, architecting, implementing/updating solutions, building and executing test plans, performing quality reviews, managing operations, and triaging and fixing operational issues.
You will also develop, implement and manage industry standard DevOps processes, and assist in maintaining and managing the current Cloud HPC infrastructure and assisting in other public and private cloud solutions.
Qualifications
Advanced knowledge and experience IDE/Tools: Visual Studio, SSMS, Power Shell, VS Power Tools, Resharper, Telerik, etc.
Advanced knowledge and experience with multi-tier applications, ideally worked on frontend, API, and database development
Experience with full lifecycle API management platforms, such as Mulesoft, Axway, etc.
Knowledge of API authentication and authorization protocols and workflows, such as OAuth and OIDC
Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD tools, such as MS DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, JFrog
Advanced knowledge and experience in SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and/or SQL Server Integration Services
Experience with following project management guidelines as needed for both traditional project management as well as Agile/Scrum methodologies
