Data Engineer for a full-time position in Los Angeles.
This hybrid remote in the office role will be utilizing Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Oracle, Snowflake, Informatica IICS.
Job Duties Participate in design, implementation, and support of a data warehouse and analytics platform Design and develop robust ETL ELT processes, primarily using tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Informatica Cloud (IICS).
Perform proof of concepts for innovation and to continuously improve and enhance the capabilities of the data analytics platform.
Train and educate internal team members as well as partner consultants about best practices in data engineering and governance.
Skillset Datawarehouse Design Skills Focus area includes exceptional skills with data design and management Strong Experience with data warehousing ETL process designdevelopmentsupport (Azure Data Factory, Informatica, ODI).
ETL Process Skills Strong Knowledge of ETL Processes and SQL Query expertise.
Proven experience working with REST APIs and bringing data from REST APIs from multiple sources.
Extensive experience in SQLPLSQL, Logical SQL Queries and Performance Tuning Excellent understanding of starsnow-flake schema, SCDs and de-normalized operations Design, model, document, and guide the logical and conceptual relationship of data and database changes for BI applications.
Experience in leading requirements gathering, gap analysis and create user requirements documentation.
Experience with Microsoft Analytics stack and solid exposure to varied databases such as Snowflake, RedShift, Oracle DW etc.
Experience working with ERP systems data such as Oracle EBSFusion (Purchasing, Order Management, Manufacturing andor Financials modules).
Experience working with agile methodologies using CICD techniques in a DevOps environment using Azure DevOps and Git.
Experience with machine learning (Python, R, Azure ML, etc.) is a plus.
