Find your future with us.The Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT& E) team located in El Segundo, California is seeking a Test Systems Engineering Manager (Level K) to lead our team responsible for the development of our special test equipment (STE).

Boeing is the world’s largest aerospace company and a leading manufacturer of Commercial and Government satellite systems.As the Test Systems Engineering Manager, you will focus on people development and growth, team building, and develop and execute best practices.

Simultaneously, you will also be challenged to monitor test system development efforts and to exploit opportunities to improve first time quality.Position Responsibilities:Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Test Systems Engineering Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goalsAcquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reportsProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesManages, develops and motivates employeesThis position allows telecommuting.

The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite the listed location.**Note: The majority of the time will be onsiteThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S.

Security Clearance for which the U.S.

Government requires U.S.

Citizenship.

An interim and/or final U.S.

Top Secret/SSBI clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry3+ years of experience as a lead engineer and/or in a leadership role5+ years of electrical engineering and design experience5+ years of experience working test systems development projects for satellite or space-based communication programsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s Degree or higher in electrical, aerospace and computer science engineeringActive Top Secret clearanceSuccessfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years or been enrolled in a Continuous Evaluation program such that periodic updates are no longer requiredSystems engineering experienceSTE architecture and design experienceProduct Test Life Cycle experienceModel Based Engineering experienceModel Based Systems Engineering experienceModel Based Definition experienceRelocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies .Shift Work Statement:This position is for 1st shiftThis position is a 9/80 schedule
