Find your future with us.Boeing Satellite Systems Mission Software Products team is seeking a highly motivated Proprietary Program Mission Software Engineering Manager with experience leading development efforts to be the Mission Software Engineering Manager in El Segundo, CA.

The Manager will manage cross-discipline personnel supporting proprietary programs.

Primary Responsibilities:The Manager will manage staffing needs and grow the skills/capabilities of the organization.The Manager will develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners.

The Manager will develop and motivate employees.The Manager must have experience supporting New Business Campaigns and be adept in building working relationships with the engineering community.The Manager must have proven experience at successfully managing and being part of a complex IPT to produce results within budget, on schedule, and to performance requirements.The Manager forecasts, obtains and manages personnel, facilities, services, equipment and tools to meet project and organizational requirements; acquires, deploys and schedules personnel to meet organizational objectives; determines critical skills within an organization or functional area; develops and implementsstaffing plans to ensure necessary skills are available within the company; and reviews, approves and implements facility, equipment and service plans to maximize productivity and ensure safety, security, environmental and regulatory compliance.

This position requires an active U.S.

Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance (US Citizenship required).

(A U.S.

Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Basic Qualifications:5+ years of experience with full software development life cycle.1+ years of experience with Agile software development.3+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams.
