Find your future with us.As part of Boeing AvionX Utilities this position will support the architecture, development, deployment and certification of cloud based software applications used in the creation and verification of Loadable Software Airplane Parts including but not limited to computing hardware configurations.

This Software Engineering position will beginwith thegeneration of Loadable Software Airplane Parts for a current airplane model followed byworking witha global distributed team ofsoftware engineers responsible for activities throughout the full software development lifecycle in the production of cloud based applications to support future airplane models.

Position Responsibilities:Decomposition of TierII software requirements into Tier IV software requirementsRequirement Based Testing generation and execution for Tier V requirementsDevelopment of Software Design and ImplementationConduct formal qualification testing of the tool softwareGeneration of DO-330 certification artifacts including Plans and SW development Lifecycle execution evidenceImplementation of problem and change requests against the current baselined softwareObtain and maintain fit for use and certification of tool and cloud based production environmentInteract with multiple stakeholders across organizationsSupport Agile SW development method The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R.

ยง 120.15 is required.

This position allows telecommuting.

The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): Bachelors of Science or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry5+ years of experience with Java, JavaScript, or C++ Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with SaaS architectures and with cloud based developmentExperience with generation of DO-200B/ DO-330 certification artifacts including plans and software development lifecycle execution evidence Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.

Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.

PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience).

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
