This is an exciting role for an engineer to come in and lead major feature developments in a rapidly growing healthcare startup.What you’ll be doing:Work on a node two–sided marketplace that is web and app basedCreate a text notification system, app notification system, timekeeping system, payroll system, applicant hiring system, algorithms that penalize and reward users, and moreBuilding out new APIs and integrating third-party APIs into our systemWork with designers, software architects, product managers, and advisorsCommunicate effectively with other node.js engineersYour entrepreneurial spirit and vision will be rewardedBasic Qualifications:Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experienceMinimum of 2 years of experience with front-end design and development using Javascript and React.jsMinimum of 4 years of experience with back-end development using Node.jsMinimum of 2 years of experience with SQL and databases such as PostgreSQL and/or MySQLMinimum of 1 years of experience with modern DevOps tools, such as Git, GitHub, and/or BitbucketMinimum of 1 years of experience with AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, RDS)Minimum of 1 years of experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Mocha)Preferred Qualifications:Experience with creating production environments on the cloudExperience with deploying web applications to production environmentsExperience with Responsive Design frameworks, such as Material UIKnowledge of CSS/CSS3, HTML5 – Knowledge of what works in specific browserKnowledge of MobX and/or Redux, React RouterFamiliarity with PCI and HIPAA compliance Professional SkillRequirements:Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environmentProven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environmentExcellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
