User interfaces, systems, APIs, libraries, devops tools, automation there are many large problems to solve.
While you may be an expert in a couple areas, you will become proficient in working across all facets of our engineering stack.Collaborate with teammates through code and design reviews, growing from each other’s knowledge and experience.Work closely with the product and design teams to plan, build and develop new iterations of our product.Investigate, propose and build new infrastructure and libraries for expanding our capabilities and scalability, as well as improving our reliability and maintainability.Engage in our devops flow, building and deploying new releases, developing and evaluating our monitoring, investigating bugs and performance issues, and improving our visibility into our system health.Help build a world-class team through interviewing and knowledge sharing.We love that you have these qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5 years experience in commercial software development.Professional development experience in Go, C++, or Java.Capable of rapidly producing large amounts of well-documented and tested, thoughtful and maintainable code.Demonstrated ability to navigate and operate within an open and ambiguous problem space with limited guidance.Passionate about writing great software, but able to make appropriate tradeoffs to ship quickly.Thoughtful about designing systems and libraries for ease of use, scalability and extensibility.Experience shipping both a commercial web product, as well as infrastructure underpinning a commercial product.It would be nice if:You have worked in a startup environment before, and both understand and are excited by the breadth of the opportunity and challenges of such an environment.You have experience working in React, or a comparable JavaScript UI framework.You have experience working with GCP, AWS or Azure.You have experience working with containers, e.G., Docker, Kubernetes.You have experience in at least one scripting language, e.G., Shell, Python, etc.You have experience working with large data and/or data flow processing systems.You have a conceptual understanding on how marketing is done on Google and Facebook, and particularly experience with Google Ads.Have you ever wondered what it would be like to join a fast growing company like Google, Netflix, Amazon, Uber or Twitch when it was a small company?
