Argonne’s Talent Acquisition (TA) organization is seeking a Recruiting Operations Specialist/Lead to support a variety of programs, processes and projects.
Human Resources experience is not required
– we are looking for candidates from any background with strong analytical or project skills who are looking for their next challenge.
The Recruiting Operations Specialist/Lead will be responsible for improving our service delivery by building and optimizing TA infrastructure.
Specific duties and responsibilities will include: Working with stakeholders to determine needs and create an overall departmental project plan, and lead execution of items on the plan.
Proactively identify new opportunities to be added to the plan.Ensuring that TA policies, forms, and websites are up-to-date and communicate changes to stakeholders; create new items as appropriateServing as the lead team member for managing TA’s applicant tracking system (Workday Recruiting, implemented July 2021).Partnering with systems staff, stakeholders, and customers to identify needs and implement improvements.Developing reference documents and training materials and conduct training sessions as appropriate.Developing and executing testing protocol for bi-annual feature releases.Partnering with records/systems staff to develop an overarching TA reporting and data strategy including development of TA metrics and dashboards.Analyzing reports and prepare recommendations facilitate more effective decision making across the talent acquisition team.Coordinating efforts in developing the online tools, web sites and other materials to support the TA Service Model.Managing vendor relationships including contract review, RFP leadership, budget analysis and tracking, maximizing service and efficiencies and measuring ROI.Serving as day-to-day technical representative for a strategic contingent staffing contract including responsibility for process improvements.Supporting laboratory compliance exercises as required, such as periodic drives for self-identification information or special efforts to comply with Department of Labor, OFCCP, EEOC and Department of Energy (DOE) orders.Providing surge support in recruitment and related life-cycle processes as needed.Position Requirements4 years of experience in project management, operations or a related field.
Human Resources or Talent Acquisition experience is a plus.Bachelor’s Degree in a business or related field or equivalent work experience.Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaborations, project management or change management.Demonstrated experience in process and systems design or process optimization.Demonstrated experience creating or using metrics.This position can be hired at one of two levels; the selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level (PA3 or PA4) dependent upon the depth and breadth of relevant knowledge and skills.
