Senior Human Resources Manager

WHO OUR CLIENT IS AND WHAT THEY NEED Our client, Math Learning Center , is an Oregon based, mission-focused , entrepreneurial educational publisher dedicated to improving the teaching and learning of mathematics .

Math Learning Center creates materials that engage students, promote classroom community and discourse, and helps more than 80,000 elementary teachers across the country deliver effective mathematics instruction.

Reporting to the Director of Organizational Development , the Senior Human Resources Manager will apply a strategic HR focus to comprehensively contribute to the overall strength of this rapidly growing 501c3 organization.

This role will maximize the organizations collaborative environment , working with a team of professionals who are passionate about math education and embrace the core value: aspire to get it right.

This is an exciting position for the right HR generalist who is able to think strategically while demonstrating operational excellence.

WHAT YOU WILL DO Institute and manage HR policies, practices and procedures that address both the strategic and operational needs of the business to maximize performance, employee engagement, and foster a healthy culture Act as a strategic advisor to provide proactive HR partnerships ensuring effective talent management, workforce planning, employee development, retention, and recruitment strategies are implemented Provide managers and leaders with coaching and value-added management tools to help enable a connected, engaged, and growth-oriented culture Drive modern day workforce strategies and implement best practices in human resource management Manage the administration of the benefit plans and oversee annual open enrollment; act as liaison between the company and the benefits administrator Provide comprehensive administration and oversight of Workforce Planning Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Performance Management Training & Development Compensation and Benefits Succession Planning Leadership Development HR Information Systems Employee Communications Employee Relations HR Policies, and Procedures Affirmative Action Plan HR Compliance & Governance WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE Strong and broad operational focus with a proven ability to manage HR functional areas, HR technologies and related programs Ability to provide a strategic and forward-thinking mindset, aligning HR initiatives to organizational goals through collaborative efforts Commitment to initiate and support conversations and practices that promote Diversity, Equity & Inclusion throughout the organization Ability to make an effective organizational impact within all levels of the organization by connecting to employees Demonstrated knowledge of human resource-related laws and regulations as well as best practices for policies and procedures Knowledge of federal and state employment law and regulatory compliance Demonstrated strength in hiring, onboarding, and employee relations 10 years of HR experience with a track record of being an HR leader in the role of a generalist, manager, or director Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience by Jobble
