About the Role

The primary purpose of the Lead Sales Recruiter is to work directly with the Head of Sales to manage the talent strategy and source candidates to rapidly grow the global sales team.

The role will also manage recruitment partners and some internal HR strategy.

The Lead Sales Recruiter will work closely with the Head of Sales and Executive Team to assist in defining the growth plan, roles, responsibilities and requirements.

The outcomes of this role directly impacts the team growth, culture management and growth of experts and executors in the company for achieving business strategies and revenue growth.

Role responsibilities range in nature and complexity, with key components including:
Work alongside the Head of Sales, CEO and Executive Team to understand hiring requirements, budgets and schedules, and provide strategic direction to align with the business’s priorities.

Develop Job Descriptions, Success Profiles and other recruitment documentation for open roles (including Executive Level roles)

Working alongside Recruitment Partners to refine roles and tailor briefs to ensure quality candidates are sourced successfully and rapidly.

Develop and deploy outreach strategies for roles to increase quality candidates including LinkedIn Outreach, networking and other approaches in the market.

Collaborate with Recruitment Partners to oversee the end-to-end recruitment process from screening CVs to interviewing and reference checks.

Define and streamline the onboarding process for candidates (alongside the internal L&D Manager) to ensure a smooth onboarding and handover to Department Heads.

Develop the OD Employer Brand in the marketplace to attract high-performance talent.

This includes Workplace Awards, LinkedIn, website pages, PR and other reputable strategies.
About You

Technical skills in a range of systems and tools such as Seek, LinkedIn, Indeed, Google products, Employment Hero and other HR Platforms

Ability to Influence, coach and mentor both internal (employees) and stakeholders of the business

What You’ve Done:

The following experience is required (or in some cases desired) for this role:
5+ years of experience in a Sales Recruitment role

Experience in working a fast-growth tech or online start-up

Proven experience in rapidly building a global sales team of 50+ personnel

Experience in working with recruitment agencies

Strong personal network of Recruitment contacts and top Sydney-based talent

Experience with HRIS and payroll applications
