Recruiting/Sales Intern

Overview: The Future Leader is responsible for learning the three phases of business that Actalent supports within a local operation.

This includes Recruiting, Account Management and Field Support.

The Future Leader must have strong business acumen as they will be interfacing with not only Actalent employees but candidates, contractors and clients as well.

Essential Functions:Post available positions on the Internet via Connected to increase the available candidate poolEvaluate resumes received and select only those candidate that are qualified to enter in the interview processSchedule candidates for interviews with RecruitersShadow Recruiters as they conduct calls, interviews and reference checksMaintain all documentation using Actalent’ s Applicant Tracking SystemAttend Contractor lunches with other RecruitersShadow Account Managers on cold callsAttend client visits with Account ManagersShadow Account Managers through the client acquisition processShadow Account Managers during requisition qualificationsAttend networking eventsShadow Field Support during pre-employment paperwork with contract employeesShadow Field Support during Background Investigations and Drug Test processesShadow Field Support during the Unemployment process including claims and hearingsShadow Field Support through Worker’s Compensation process including education, filing claims, and alternate light duty locationsMinimum Education/Experience/Abilities/Skills:Currently enrolled in college/university seeking a BA/BS degreeTransitioning between Junior and Senior years (preferred)MS OfficeCustomer Service ExperienceSales Related Experience
