Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: Responsible for recruiting company drivers and independent contractorsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Responsible for screening, recruiting, telephone interviewing, qualifying and selecting applicants for driver positionsReview driver candidate applications for job fit and compliance and conduct telephone interviews to evaluate skills for potential placementEnsure positive candidate experience through customer service, timely communication; respond effectively to candidate’s needsEscalate issues as neededApply problem solving techniques, tact and discretion when handling callsCoordinate pre-employment background check and DOT drug screens, arrange for travel to orientation facilityManage administration and preparation to hire and on-board driver candidatesMaintain strict confidentiality related to candidate dataRecommend process improvements to achieve superior Driver candidate experience and satisfactionPerforms other related duties as assignedRequirementsKNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE KEY COMPETENCIES:High school degree or equivalencyMinimum one (1) year of previous driver recruiting experienceGeneral knowledge of Tenstreet softwareMust be self-motivated and sales/goal-orientedExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal (e.g., phone)General knowledge of Windows-based software, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technologiesAbility to manage confidential information appropriatelyMust have good judgment, decision-making ability, and attention to detailIndependently contribute to team performance goals without compromising quality or servicePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
