Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties has a full-time opportunity for a Recruiter in Anaheim, CA.
Partners with the Organization’s Recruitment Manager and hiring managers and participates in all phases of the recruitment process including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection and presenting offers.
Evaluates potential candidates to selectively build and maintain a strong, diverse candidate pool.
Ensures all relevant paperwork is completed for both candidates and new hires and communicates to all appropriate personnel regarding new employment orientation.
Responsible for ensuring all applicant and candidate information is entered into the applicant tracking system (ATS) in a timely manner.
Assists with updates to recruitment policies and procedures and supports special projects and events as required.

Ensure that the Human Resources Department has an internal and external reputation of competency, fairness, confidentiality and the highest level of customer service.
Remain current on all applicable laws, regulatory compliance and standards of practice in your area of responsibility.
Responsible for filling open positions in a timely manner including but not limited to processing personnel requisitions, sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
Partner with the hiring manager and demonstrate in depth understanding of the position requirements including required and preferred criteria, appropriate candidate sourcing avenues and an identified timeline.
Regularly communicates with the hiring manager, keeping her/him informed regarding updates, issues and timelines.
Utilize persuasive ability, influencing skills and recruitment expertise to effectively resolve difficult issues with hiring managers and candidates.
Schedules candidate interviews, conducting pre-employment screening steps (i.e.
application, resume, reference checks, Predictive Index, background checks, etc), preparing employment offer letters, following up on offers, and scheduling new hires for orientation.
Develop, build and maintain candidate relationships through ongoing communications promoting interest in position and organization.
Responsible for applicant tracking and ensuring all data is entered in the system promptly allowing for immediate access to staffing metrics.
Generate status reports.
Responsible for updating internal job postings as needed, advertising position openings and informing external agencies and organizations about our openings as appropriate.
Answer employment opportunity questions from potential internal and external applicants.
Presents screened candidates to hiring managers.
Assists in the design and maintenance of the Human Resources Recruitment website.
Represent Organization at career fairs.
Promoting the Organization as Employer of Choice whenever possible and appropriate.
Qualifications Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum Work Experience: Minimum of three years’ work experience in a human resources department with at least one year focused in recruitment; healthcare recruitment preferred.
Other Requirements: Possess a working knowledge of California employment law.
Agency Standard Requirements: Strong commitment to quality healthcare and excellent customer service is required.
Must thrive in a fast paced, rigorous environment with changing priorities.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Must demonstrate high level computer skills including; Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Electronic medical records experience may also be required.
This position requires travel to other sites and locations; if using a personal vehicle to meet this requirement, a valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance in compliance with the minimum requirements of CA vehicle code are required.
