Sr. Payroll Specialist needed to work on long term project in Downtown L.A.
• Entering New Hires into Great Plains, Time Force & Principal.
• Updating Paperwork (Direct Deposits, W-4•s, Address Changes, Status Changes,
Meal Waivers).
• Updating 401k/403b elections.
• Showing new hires how to use our time keeping system.
• Making sure to send the proper reminders to our staff related to payroll deadlines.
• Sending Payroll estimates and Actuals to Payroll Specialist.
• Going through timecards before locking down Time Force.
• Reviewing and editing all payroll batches to ensure all account code, rates & taxes
are correct.
• Emailing employees regarding Timecard Issues.
• Processing payroll batches
• Exporting Time Force information and editing the info so that it can be ready for
integration.
• Ensuring all payroll updates are made to make sure no one falls behinds in terms of
deductions or gets over-deducted.
• Creating Leave spreadsheets for employees that are going on FMLA/PFL or PDL.
• Off Cycle checks, i.e., term, missing hours
• Inactivating employees in all our systems.
• Building 401k/403b Reports.
• Building AEA/SAG-AFTRA Union Reports.
• Entering Garnishments/LEVYS into our system.
• Building Invoices for Garnishments.
• Running monthly AEA Initiation Dues Reports.
• Running monthly inactivation reports for employees who haven•t worked in over 1
yr.
• Running a monthly updated Local Union Employment status report for the
Production team.
• Assisting employees when help is needed to set up their respective Greenshades
accounts.
• Running reports for HR, Production, Telefunding, Education on a as needed basis
• Answer all payroll inquires in shared payroll inbox
• Employment verification, unemployment benefit audits
and do payroll weekly and bi-weekly.
