Please continueYOUR CONTRIBUTION TO OUR SUCCESS:A Payroll Manager contributes to AHF’s mission by assisting the Director of Payroll with managing the company Payroll Department.On a day to day basis, under general direction from the Director of Payroll, the Payroll Manager oversees payroll administration for our domestic operations.

The Payroll Manager is responsible for monitoring all tasks necessary to accomplish the organization’s payroll processing and payroll accounting objectives, including supervision of Payroll Staff and management of relationships with Human Resources, Accounting, third-party accounting services providers, external auditors, and state and federal agencies.

The Payroll Manager’s time is divided between planning, coordinating and managing the functions of payroll and managing relationships to drive initiatives across the organization.By providing payroll expertise, the Payroll Manager will review bi-weekly domestic payroll data prepared by the Payroll Staff.Ensure accurate and timely payroll in compliance with all applicable wage and hour laws.Monitor regular tax filings with various jurisdictions and entities.

Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits.Manage the accurate and timely year-end reporting of W-2s and other wage and labor filings.

Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed.

Manage employee communications regarding any payroll-related items or initiatives.Develop and train staff.
