Payroll & Benefits Associate

Duffl is looking to add a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to our growing team.

This position will report to the Head of People and be responsible for everything related to employee incentives.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who will own and help oversee the payroll and benefits operations for hundreds of employees.

Our ideal candidate works best in a high growth, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment and is an effective collaborator with a strong focus on attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for hourly, salaried, and temporary employees; including reviewing and importing hours from time and attendance system, entering tax and direct deposit information, and administering regulatory requirements.
  • Administer the time and attendance policy and paid leave policy for all employees.
  • Administer all employee benefit programs including enrollments and terminations.
  • Coordinates and conducts the new employee onboarding process and presents benefits presentations.
  • Plans and administers annual open enrollment period.
  • Plans, conducts and reports results of audits, working closely with Accounting for quarterly and year-end audits (payroll, Workers Comp, 401k, etc.)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant years of experience
  • At least 3+ years of experience administering payroll, HRIS and benefits processes
  • U.S.

    Work Authorization

  • Experience as and admin with a HRIS, preferably Rippling 
  • Experience as an admin for an ATS, preferably Lever
  • Understanding of exempt and non-exempt labor laws, particularly for the state of California
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
