PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR
Our client is one of the largest general contractors in the U.S.
The Head of Payroll is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their dynamic team.Payroll Administrator Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities include:
Process multi-state In-house daily and weekly payroll for multiple companies in a centralized processing department Issuing of paychecks to multiple locations Data entry of W-4’s, direct deposits, labor distributions, garnishments and etc.
into JD Edwards (JDE) Issue Interim off-cycle checks for layoffs, missed time entry, etc.
Provide payroll Information by answering questions and responding to requests Knowledge of union payroll processes (plus) Understanding of payroll transactions in JDE (plus) Liaise with Human Resource, Field Payroll, Payroll Tax, Corporate Accounting, and multiple contacts with Business Unit Finance personnel Meet daily and weekly payroll deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent years of work experience 5-10 years of payroll experience in a large multiple-state organization Union payroll experience (preferred) 5 years of in-house payroll processing Highly organized and detail oriented Strong analytical and problem solving skills Proficient in Excel Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and In writing Positive and professional demeanor, with a highly customer service focus Experience with JDE (preferred), otherwise will train **For immediate consideration, please submit resume to mortega@cfs-la.com
