We currently are seeking a Payroll Administrator at our Los Angeles Center.
This position is responsible for:
Processing and committing bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees in Dayforce
Processing all new hires, changes, and or updates in Vanguard
Processing accurate and timely year end reporting to include W-2’s
Managing and processing garnishments/levies, and employment verifications
Capturing all employees time and attendance
Following up with employees’ managers for updates or changes regarding time and attendance
Uploading and updating all vacation and sick balance from Dayforce to Kronos time and attendance system
Downloading and reviewing all payroll reports for accuracy
Working as an entry leave accountant for payroll related audit schedules, departmental reports, budget reports and all other related duties assigned
Managing the taxation of employer-paid benefits
Performing compliance for unclaimed payroll checks
Working on projects on an as needed basis
Providing positive and continued support to employees and members of management on a regular basis
Minimum Requirements:
Four (4) year college degree major in Accounting and Finance preferred
At least three (3) to five (5) years of Payroll experience preferred
Entry level accountant for payroll related audits
Experience with processing bi-weekly payroll processes
Working knowledge of payroll and timekeeping processing systems, Kronos and Dayforce preferred
