New York Film Academy: Payroll Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:Conduct bi-weeekly payroll for all LA Employees and International Emmployees.

Issue thefaculty semester contracts and import timecards for faculty.

The day-to-day duties required of this position may vary.Primary DutiesAdministers biweekly payroll for LA, International and 1099 employeesPerforms Time Punch CorrectionsIssues contractsEnters substitute and prep hours for facultyUpdates Payroll Cross checkCalculates retro paymentsFields all questions regarding payrollMaintains 401K updates and loansIssues disciplinary forms for payroll related correctivesCompletes EDDsTracks Raise RequestsCompletes Employment VerificationsConducts Exit Interviews with employees for Final PayCalculates and issues all contracts for FacultyConducts contract auditsAssists with benefit related tasksPerforms general HR DutiesIssues updated documentation, as neededTrains HR AssistantAssists HR Managers and Executives with administrative workUpdates HRIS as neededFiles and keeps all personnel files currentMaintains quality service by following School standardsProvides customer service to employees KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES:Knowledge of HR functions, with a focus on payrollPossesses a passion for numbers and calculaitonsQuick learner with attention to detailGreat planning and organization skillsQuality control demonstrates accuracy and thoroughnessDependability follows instructions and responds to management directionAble to maintain high level of confidentiality EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:1-3 years experience in HR or Finance or Accounting1-3 years Payroll ExperienceBachelors Degree in Human Resources preferredExperience working with HRIS (Paycom preferred)
