Responsible for developing and designing backend and frontend web architectures and ensuring good functionality and responsiveness of websites, proprietary software, and web applications.
You will work alongside the Director of Systems & Technology, designers, project managers, and design researchers.
Some key projects include developing Drupal, WordPress, React, and our Intelligence Bank DAM system pages.
All within an AWS infrastructure.
Responsibilities * Develop up-to-date visually appealing front end website architecture, including translating designer mock-ups and wireframes into frontend code* Develop custom landing pages for our DAM system using HTML and CSS* Develop functional databases, applications, and servers to support websites on the back end* Develop and design RESTful services and APIs* Develop and design CMS with Drupal and WordPress* Develop and design ReactJS user interfaces and UI components* Design user interactions on web pages* Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are considered when architecting solutions.* Stay current and provide insight on cutting edge software approaches, architectures, and vendors* Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor Requirements* 4+ years working experience as a full stack developer in digital products* Fluent in CSS (Foundation or Bootstrap), JavaScript, and HTML, with an understanding of CSS preprocessors, including Sass and LESS.* Strong knowledge of Linux, PHP, and MySQL, with a working understanding of any of the following MongoDB, PostgreSQL, AngularJS, Express.Js, Oracle, React, Ember and Node.Js.* Experience working with any of the following languages such as Java, .Net, Python, PHP, or Ruby.* Experience in API design and development* Familiar with the following systems is a plus: Intelligence Bank DAM system, Wrike Project Management, Drupal, WordPress, and AWS.
