Legal Recruiter – Human Resource Professional

I am working with a highly respected law firm in the Los Angeles area that is seeking a Legal Recruiter with human resources knowledge to support staffing needs and to find, attract, and retain top legal talent.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with HR Team to promote the recruitment, retention, and development of top legal and administrative support talent
  • Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process (candidate sourcing, screening, qualification evaluation, negotiating offers, and follow up) to facilitate the hire of qualified candidates
  • Oversee and manage a pipeline of top talent relationships and maintain contact with potential candidates that may be a future match for open positions
  • Bolster candidate search opportunities through multiple channels like job fairs, law schools, and networking groups
  • Maximize outreach methods to job seekers e.g., social media, job boards, data mining techniques, internet searches, etc.
  • Track recruiting budgets and seek opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenses
  • Perform other duties as required

About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of talent acquisitions, staffing, recruiting experience preferably in the legal market
  • Knowledge of human resource policies and guidelines, California employment law, and recruitment best practices
  • Excellent communication skills, time management, and relationship-building skills are desired
  • Familiarity with CRM / applicant tracking systems, MS Office, Google Suite, and social media tools
  • Proactice and flexible approach with willingness to adjust to changing priorities
  • Able to work under pressure
