Human Resources Manager

High end furniture manufacturing company is seeking to hire 2 Bilingual Spanish Human Resource’s Manager’s to support two locations. •Manufacturing, Furniture, Garment, Apparel, Lighting, Perfume, Cashmere, Textile, Retail, Distribution, Manufacturing and Merchandising industry background is a huge plus** •**PLEASE NOTE COMPANY WILL BE RELOCATING TO TORRANCE, MANHATTAN BEACH OR SUROUNDING AREAS IN THE NEAR FUTURE*** Summary The Human Resources Manager is responsible for coordinating all administrative activities related to an organization•s personnel. The Human Resources Manager reports directly to the COO/General Manager, and is responsible for oversight of the Human Resources department and performance of all general human resources functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities •Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding •Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations •Maintain HR systems and processes for time and attendance, payroll, benefits administration, document management, organizational data management, and reporting •Administer employee benefits and retirement plan, including new employee enrollments, open enrollment period, COBRA/CAL-COBRA, and participate in the benefits review and renewal process with company’s brokers •Coordinate facilities management activity for plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc •Develop training materials and performance management programs, such as regular performance appraisals, to help ensure employees understand and excel in their job responsibilities •Create compensation and succession strategies for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date •Investigate employee issues, such as conflicts, complaints, and workplace accidents, and bring all issues to appropriate resolution through effective claims management •Ensure the organization•s compliance with local, state and federal regulations •Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently •Consult with outside legal counsel regarding best and compliant practices on matters of investigations and regulatory compliance •Direct the company’s workplace safety programs and meetings, including fire safety, earthquake safety, and accident safety •Manage manufacturer safety data sheet portfolio, chemical waste removal, chemical use reporting, and emissions reporting and permits •Partner with management to ensure strategic goals are aligned with business initiatives •Direct the day to day activity of the HR & Front Office Coordinator Benefits Offered •401K, Dental, Life, Medical, Vision, PTO and Sick Pay Apply for this great position as Bilingual Spanish Human Resources Manager’s needed today!
