About the Role: ACI Learning is seeking a Human Resources Intern to join us.

This intern position will report directly into our dynamic CREW & Culture Team and will be a great opportunity for students to be provided with a hands-on experience with recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll, compliance and analytics.

Pay: $16.00
– $18.00 Schedule: 20-25 hrs a week Internship: 6 months Responsibilities: Employee file and maintenance audits to meet regulatory compliance requirements Assist with onboarding logistics for new hires and new hire paperwork Assist with preparation of required documents and processes for separations Run reports in our HRIS System and assist with maintaining the company wide org chart Assist with keeping employee files up to date Assist with sending out required online trainings to employees and track completion Create and maintain changes, including new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations and all other applicable changes in our systems and in employees’ personnel files Assist HR team with other administrative tasks as needed Qualifications Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field Strong interest in Human Resources Exhibits exceptional verbal, written and interactive communication skills Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and anticipate issues that may arise proactively and quickly to determine next steps Ability to interact with employees at all levels of the company as well as external contacts Ability to use discretion when dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Work Environment & Physical Demands: The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and classroom environment.

Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, speak, hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push, pull, reach with hands and arms on intermittent to regular basis daily.

The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

The employee must demonstrate regular and on-time attendance.

There could be a requirement of occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
