That growth needs an exceptional HR Generalist to lead human resources at our corporate headquarters in the Marina Bay Area of Richmond, California.

We are looking for a unique and entrepreneurial-minded individual to be a steward for our team culture and to develop a comprehensive and proactive HR Department to match the rapid growth of the company.

This is a salaried position, full-time, onsite, and partners with leadership, management, and employees on planning, developing, and aligning Human Resource business objectives across the organization.Responsibilities:
– Provide support in the areas of recruiting, new full-time onboarding, salary administration, performance management, employee recognition/rewards programs, training & development, employee relations, legal and compliance, labor relations, safety, and workers’ compensation.

– Manage employee relations by serving as the first point of contact for employees & management by conducting comprehensive assessments and providing strategic pragmatic solutions.

– Serve as the knowledge base for all current local, state, and federal employment law matters to mitigate risk (i.e., terminations, performance issues, complaints, lawsuits, discrimination, conflict, counseling, etc.).

– Conduct new full-time orientations & onboarding sessions to ensure new hires receive a proper introduction to the organization.

Serve as expert for California employment law issues.

– Communicate company policies, benefits, retirement, and general HR inquires in a clear and concise manner (email & in person).

– Ensure all required employee documents are properly managed to ensure they meet HR compliance.

– Manage, compile & report Human Resource metrics as needed.

Lead the planning, development, and coordination of company events and ensure the office is operating at its optimal efficiency by driving daily office operations.

– Provide ongoing communication, dialogue, and outreach to employees (in person, email, phone) including traveling to remote client sites.

– As needed, support recruiting activities (i.e., background checks, drug-testing, reference checks, screening, coordinating, etc.).

– Some local travel 10-20%
– Execute job duties safely and in accordance with company policies, standards, and guidelines.

– Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:
– Min 2-3 years previous Human Resource administration or related experience/certification
– Experience with California employment law
– Ability to work independently, prioritize, multi-task and exercise discretion
– Resourceful and proactive with the ability to adapt, navigate, and embrace change
– Demonstrates a collaborative and helpful attitude and customer-service orientation
– High level of attention to details and accuracy, with strong and reliable follow-through
– Ability to effectively communicate with employees with a thoughtful and sensitive manner
– Strong verbal and written communication, professionalism, and consulting skills
– Able to handle a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity regarding employee information
– Proficient with paycom.com HR and payroll software
– Proficiency using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Extensive Microsoft Excel experience -including advanced functions and pivot tables and queriesBenefits for you:
