Human Resources Generalist

Our client is a well-known advertising and media company that prides itself on their dynamic team and great internal relations. They are currently looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join their team! This position is currently remote but will eventually be hybrid in their Los Angeles office 2-3 days per week.

Salary/Hourly Rate: 

$27-35/hr | $70-75k salary

Position Overview:

The Human Resources Generalist is a position of many different hats. The HR team is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to support their Los Angeles population of about 150 employees with various HR related needs. If you are a strong communicator with good organizational skills who thrives in a fast paced environment, this is the job for you!

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Generalist:

  • Spearheads the employee onboarding process
  • Provides day to day support to employees and answers HR related questions
  • Develops and rolls out new employee programs
  • Interprets and educates employees on company policies and procedures
  • Maintains Human Resource information system records
  • Assists with benefits questions, including enrollment, changes, and communicating benefits information to employees
  • Champions employee experience and manages recognition programs
  • Assists with performance management process and employee relations issues
  • Analyzes data and has familiarity working in HRIS systems
  • Assists with many exciting HR projects such as the new employee survey platform launch

Qualifications of the Human Resources Generalist:

  • 2 years of HR experience at the Coordinator or Generalist level
  • Experience with HRIS systems highly preferred
  • Excellent MS Office Skills
  • Strong work ethic and can-do attitude
  • Great communication and organization skills
  • Can work well independently to prioritize and accomplish tasks

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
