Description Join our team as a Human Resources Analyst in the Division of Laboratory Animal Medicine!Under the Human Resources Manager’s guidance, you’ll:* Provide vital HR administrative support.* Manage UCPath transactions, compensation requests, EEC submissions, and inquiries with precision.* Keep schedules aligned in Kronos, handle payroll, recruitment, and parking coordination.* Expertly manage leave, Worker’s Compensation, and maintain impeccable records.* Knowledge of UC policy.* Flexibility for occasional overtime.Join us and thrive!Salary: $28.78 – $59.33/hour
Qualifications Required:* Computer Skills: proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel required; working knowledge of Access, Outlook e-mail, and Power point preferred.* Knowledge of EBD, PTR, QBD, and HBS Kronos processing.* Knowledge of Document Direct, Recharge Order request, Service Now Ticket Requests* Basic knowledge of math required. Must be number oriented, mathematically inclined, detail oriented.* Proficient in data entry* Proficient in PeopleSoft (UCPath), Avature, Employee Experience Center (EEC), Compensation Action Request (CAR), KRONOS time keeping system.* Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience* Knowledge of FML, I9 processing, Federal Labor Laws, and State Labor laws.* Ability to speak in a concise, diplomatic and respectful manner* Ability to act as liaison to faculty, staff, students and other visitors* Must be customer service oriented.* Working knowledge of procedures and practices that govern HR administration, preferably in a university environment.*
Analytical skills to conduct analysis, develop recommendations, and resolve organizational issues.* Working knowledge of human resources concepts, employment practices, employee/labor relations, salary administration, recruitment, training, and other areas of human resources.* Skilled in handling sensitive information and / or situations and maintaining strict confidentiality.* Skilled in composing business, personnel and / or payroll correspondence.* Knowledge of benefits and retirement programs, preferably in a university environment; ability to interpret and communicate complex benefits information to employees
