Job Description
Review and implement recruitment plan for all entry level positions and provides assistance in recruiting for other areas Help administer new hire orientations and on-boarding and retention activities Update and monitor annual Performance Appraisal files Help maintain office documents / filing, new hire folders, employee handbooks, orientation and benefits packets, job applications, archiving resumes, and other HR document management activities Help process internal signature authorizations, payment vouchers, background and reference checks, offer letters, rejection letters, employment verifications, parking passes, audit files, personnel files and binders Initiate and prepare correspondence, responds to inquiries, and handles special mailings for special projects or events Assist management with employee handbook updates, policy interpretation for employee performance management, disciplinary process, counseling reports, and processing terminations Assist with trainings: creates, copies, records and distributes printed materials Assist with appreciation activities Assist with HR audits Help maintain personnel files and data Assist the Human Resources and Volunteer Department team with daily tasks and special projects Responsible for ordering, replenishing, organizing office supplies and maintaining office equipment
Requirements
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Able to communicate with professionals at all levels Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information Able to work independently and take initiative Able to adapt to changing priorities Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines Detail-oriented A team player Strong work ethic
Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 1 years’ relevant experience REF # 36249
