Visit us here to find out more about Industry X.0 People in the Sales career track play a key role working as part of our account team to grow pipeline and sales by originating, identifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities across a range of Accenture Intelligent Products & Platforms and Cloud offerings, they progress by deepening sales skills, developing new skills, and evolve into more complex sales roles on larger opportunities.

Sales professionals drive the sales process and outcomes on a dedicated basis, growing a profitable pipeline and/or backlog of sales, through deal origination, sales negotiations, and closure.

You are: A growth focused sales professional, focused on Resources Business , who has successfully created positive impact through year-on-year business expansion.

You have run all phases of a sales cycle, including origination, qualification, sales pursuit and close by applying deep sales process and technical expertise.

Have a proven track record of business development success, operational excellence, and keen strategic thinking as well as a strong understanding of the consultative sales approach.

An experienced transformational consultant who can commercialize the business, drive profitability and position for continued growth and expansion, with the inherent ability to drive relationships within the C-Suite and other senior executive levels within major organizations.

The work: Originates sales pursuits, create solutions to complex technology business problems / opportunities requiring in-depth knowledge of client buyer needs and closes sales.

Interacts with senior management levels at clients and within Accenture, determines pursuit strategies, develops client messaging plans and relationships, and applies industry-leading Digital transformation strategies and practices within the Capital Projects space.

Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.

Operates within large teams and directs specific team sales activities.

Able to travel Monday-Thursday (as required); post COVID travel considerations/concerns (as currently much of our work is virtual) 10 years progressive sales, consulting and/or industry experience to this role, ideally from top-tier professional services firm; where they have developed relevant experience through consulting engagements, focused on Oil&Gas, Energy, Utilities or Chemicals industry Excellent interpersonal skills, including a proven ability to succeed in a multi-cultural, multi-functional environment, where market credibility is critical for success.

A team player who is innovative Outstanding interpersonal and demonstrated leadership skills, a mature executive who also possesses an entrepreneurial spirit.

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
