Human Resource Specialist – HRIS

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Maintains UKG modules, business rules, reports, researches updates, and recommends improvements to overall HRIS and processes.

Maintain users and security access in UKG.

Trains UKG users and maintains all UKG internal training materials for employees and managers.Ownership of data integrity across all sources of employee data which includes entry, processing, and auditing, while reviewing for accuracy and completeness.

Audits Personnel Changes including but not limited to new hires, terminations, salary changes, FMLA cases, etc.Supports the performance review process including 6 month reviews, promotional increases and annual performance reviews.Performs monthly benefit reconciliation and coordinates with the payroll coordinator in making the necessary adjustments.Creates and submits all 1095-C files electronically.Submits EEO-1 reports and quarterly worksite reports.

Also submits any labor statistics as required.Serves as backup payroll coordinator by training for and practicing in submitting payroll in the absence of the Payroll/Benefit Coordinator.Administrator for our NMLS registrations and annual renewals.Performs other job related duties as assigned.Performance Measurements:1.Create and interpret HR stats and analytics in order to see areas of improvement relating to recruiting, retention, engagement, etc.2.Ensure the accuracy of all personnel data within UKG.3.Create and maintain meaningful and accurate reports for management.4.Assist with ensuring the department has limited errors and audit findings.Knowledge and Skills:ExperienceOne year to three years of similar or related experience.Education(1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.Interpersonal SkillsWork involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.

Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.Other SkillsMust be familiar with HRIS applications, business intelligence reporting, and time management systems.

Experience with UKG (UltiPro) is a plus.

Must be possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written).Must be detailed, organized and able to meet deadlines.Must be able analytical and able to interpret HR data and stats.

Must be familiar with Federal and State laws affecting Human Resources.Physical RequirementsLight lifting required.
