Senior Recruiter – REMOTE / TELEWORK with Security Clearance

TITLE: Senior Recruiter Sumaria Systems is looking for a goal-oriented individual to join our dynamic team in the Advisory & Assistance Division (A&AS) as a full-time Senior Recruiter to lead talent attraction initiatives and source and recruit cleared candidates to meet government contract requirements in Dayton Ohio and other geographic locations. NOTE: Candidates DO NOT have to reside in Dayton Ohio. If they have the right background, this position can work remotely from anywhere in the continental US. As a full-time Senior Recruiter, you will contribute to Sumaria’s success as an organization in the following ways: * Through creative talent attraction methods, minimize and eliminate vacancies as they occur within the A&AS portfolio, and reduce time to fill vacancies for minimal impact to our customers * Support our Business Development engine when needed with sourcing resumes of proposal winning talent * Help guide Hiring Managers to position Sumaria as an employer of choice to the ‘best of the best” candidates in our industry who have many options available to them for employment * Strategically partner with Hiring Managers to formulate ideal staffing plans for every vacancy * Proactively identify and execute staffing plans for future staffing needs * Source both active and passive candidates via job boards, cleared candidate databases, Boolean searches, and other candidate generating techniques * Network with individuals in the DoD community to establish and grow talent pipelines * Create a positive candidate experience by developing and maintaining strong relationships with regular touch points and diligent follow through during the hiring process. Desirable candidates will possess the following qualifications and attributes: * A recognized industry leader who can identify and hire cleared candidates with NAC, Secret, Top Secret, and Top Secret/SCI clearances * A proven track record in talent acquisition across a broad spectrum of functional skill sets both technical (e.g., Engineering, IT) and non-technical (e.g., Financial Management, Program Management) * A polite persistence in accomplishing day to day tasks, and an unquenchable resolve for mission success * Training and experience in cutting-edge contemporary Internet recruiting techniques * Demonstrated training and/or experience navigating the full life cycle of recruiting relative to compliance with OFCCP, EEO, and other State and Federal employment laws * Minimum of five (5) years’ previous experience in a technical recruiting or sourcing role * At least one (1) year experience recruiting for DoD/cleared positions * Ability to maintain confidentiality for sensitive matters and personal employee information * The ability to successfully leverage software and systems associated with performing this role including online recruiting tools, an HRIS, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint software * Maintain a cordial and professional demeanor at all times * Strong interpersonal, written and professional communications ability * Excellent critical thinking, evaluation and analytical skills What We Can Offer You: * We’ve been named a “Best Place to Work” by the Dayton Business Journal * We offer competitive benefits and learning and development opportunities * We are mission-oriented and ever vigilant in aligning our solutions with the nation’s highest priorities.
