Job Description JOB TITLE: Human Resource Coordinator LOCATION: Accumold Office REPORTS TO: HR Generalist II FLSA: Non-Exempt JOB SUMMARY: P rimarily responsible for coordinating the efficient operation of the Human Resource function within th e Co mpany supporting the brand promise.

Provides administrative support for H uman R esources team members .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains and updates all confidential electronic files i n the HRIS system .

Handles day-to-day communication wi th employees regarding address changes, family stat us changes or other information used in maintaining benefit plans and j ob postings .

Maintains current knowledge of Accumold policies and benefits .

As sists in communicating information appr opriately to managers and employees.

Develops knowle dge of applicable HRIS ’ s, employment laws , OSHA, and regulations.

A ssist managers in recruitment processes by placing advertisements, screening applicants, checking references, etc.

Organizes new hire information according t o set p rocedure.

Maintain accurac y of current HRIS system.

Contacts employee as they become e ligible for ben efits and assists with enrollment.

Assist with c ommunicates changes in benefit plans to employees .

Updates information and orders benefits materia ls as needed.

Serves as liaison to organizations from which Accumold acquires employee benefits and ass is ts or refers em ployees with benefits questions.

Prior to renewals research various benefit options and reports those to management.

Sends out remind ers and monitors the timely c ompletion of Performance Appraisals as outlined in Human Resource Procedur es .

Research and/or arranges for training as required .

Prepares employee separati on materials and re lated documents.

Responsible for information and com munications regarding unemployment claims.

Responsible for administration of EEOC and HIPAA notifications, as necessary.

Maintain health log a s needed.

Coordinates / participates in employee committees that plan events.

Responsible for making arrangemen ts for the events based on the requests of the committees.

Performs duties in accordance with Accumold’s Core Values, Policies, and Objectives.

This incl udes the Quality Policy and Environmental Policy.

O ther duties as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, S KILLS & ABILITIES: Education/Experience .

Combination of Two to Four years of post-high school education coursework o r equivale nt related office experience required plus minimum of three years secretarial/administrative /human resource experience preferred .

C omputer skills required.

Knowledge of Human Resource and administrative functions helpful.

Professional in Human Resour ces certification preferred (PHR/SHRM-CP or SHRM -SCP) .

Computer Skills .

Ability to operate p ersonal computer, copy machine and telephone required.

Above average knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required.

Language Skills .

Prov en written communication skills necessary.

Oral communication skills necessary for speaking on occasion to groups.

Also, the ability to effectively present information or train ing to employees, in one-on-one and small group situations.

Ability needed t o read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, organizationa l rules and policies.

Mathematical Skills .

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbe rs, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ab ility .

Ability to solve practical problems.

A bility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Other Skills and Abilities .

Must possess the interpersonal s kills to deal courteously and effectively with a broad spectrum of Accu m old staff and vendor organizations.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality and a professional relationship with fellow workers and the public .

Willingness to attend confere nces, classes, or training to enhance and update knowledge and skills.

Supervisory Responsibi lities .

None.

Physical Demands .

Whi le performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to talk or hear.

With or without correction
– Normal vision (20/20) .

The employee must occasionally l ift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may be required to stand and walk and sit for extended peri ods of time.

Dexterity to perform computer operations necessary.

Work Environment .

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Office condi ti ons are normal.
